The Society for American Baseball Research is pleased to sponsor the second annual Arizona Fall League (AFL) Conference November 4-6, 2010. Conference registration  includes:

• Arizona Major League Alumni Luncheon honoring former Jerry Colangelo, former owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns, as well as the Arizona Baseball Awards
• Tickets to four games, including the Rising Stars (All-Star) Game
• Transportation to and from all games
• A pre-game meal before the evening game on Friday, November 5
• A presentation session celebrating Arizona’s baseball heritage
• Arizona Fall League media guide

The Arizona Fall League begins its 19th season on October 12, 2010. Six teams are stocked with top prospects from all 30 Major League teams. More than 1,800 former AFL players have reached the Major Leagues, as have 26 managers.

Registration is $125 and includes transportation to and from the games, Friday’s pre-game meal, an Arizona Fall League Media Guide, and the AZML Alumni Luncheon. Registration for the AZML Alumni Luncheon only  is $50. Register online via the SABR Store.

The host hotel is the Tempe Embassy Suites. The early registration rate is $89 per night through September 17. From September 18 through October 5, the rate is $99 per night. After October 5, regular room rates apply. Hotel guests will also receive complimentary breakfast each day at the Embassy Suites.
