Vintage Baseball in the Bay Area |
- Bay Area Vintage Baseball League – The first and longest running vintage base ball league in the Bay Area. Unlike other leagues, which use rules from a span of 1860-1890 to make it more favorable to the audience, BAVBB applies the strict rules of 1886 and strives for historical accuracy.
- Old Timers Baseball Association of San Francisco – Established in 1941 as a place for former baseball players to meet on a monthly basis to discuss the game and to create a social gathering for them to reminisce about the game and fellow players.
- Honorary Negro League Game – The Morris League hosts an annual commemorative Negro League baseball game in Sacramento. A 1930 re-enactment, the game will be played in retro uniforms and honor the great legacy of the Negro Leagues.
