Request for Info re: Seattle Steelheads
Written by Mary Groebner

I'm a freelance writer living in the Seattle area and have started to do some preliminary research on the Seattle Steelheads that played at Seattle's old Sick's Stadium. Do you have any team and/or contact information that you could help me with? Are there any Steelheads still alive that I could possibly interview?

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Yakima Valley Museum
Written by Tim Herlich
My name is Summer Hahn and I am the archivist/research librarian at the Yakima Valley Museum.  I only happened by your organization by chance and did not know it even existed.  I am an avid baseball fan and am in the process of gathering information for an exhibit on Yakima Valley baseball.  I would be interested in joining your organization and connecting with other baseball researchers in the area.  How do I go about doing that?

Thank you for your time,

American Legion baseball in Washington
Written by Susan Petrone

A gentleman just called the office wondering if we had information on
players from the state of Washington who played American Legion baseball. The Washington state office is forming a Washington State American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame. The man's name is Grant Heppenstall, and his email is gehepp@comcast.net. If anyone has any information on American Legion players from Washington or knows of any resources that might provide some leads, please contact Mr. Heppenstall directly.

Games over 20 innings
Written by Phil Lowry

I am a fellow SABR member, and I am hopeful that you may be able to help me by checking some research for possible omissions, errors, and missing information.

For 46 years, I have been searching for games lasting 20 or more innings. For Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and western Canada, I have found these games.

It is relatively certain this list is not complete, and that there are probably some amateur, townball, youth, and two-year college games missing from the list.

The one in Millwood, WA is particularly of interest, because I do not have the exact date in July 1954, I do not know if Millwood is part of Spokane or a separate town, and I don't know the final score.

Thanks again for your assistance,

Phil Lowry (PLowry1176@aol.com)
