When: Saturday, September 1, 2010 (Labor Day Weekend) beginning at 4:00 p.m.
What: The annual minor league game and meeting of the chapter. This year we'll see the York Revolution host the Long Island Ducks. The teams are members of the independent Atlantic League.
v 3:45 p.m. We will meet outside the main gate in front of the stadium.
v 4:00 Program.
Confirmed =>
Eric Menzer, President and General Manager. The Revolution is Eric's first professional position in organized baseball. However, he is a well-known part of the York community and has a fan's perspective on how a baseball operation should be run. (Wouldn't running a baseball team be a dream come true for any baseball fan?)
Andrew Ball, Baseball Operations Manager. His duties include finding and signing players for the team.
Tentative =>
Andy Etchebarren, Manager. The only thing that will prevent him from speaking to us is health issues.
Mark Mason, Pitching Coach.
Either Andy or Mark will definitely appear.
Revolution players. (Specific players will be determined later.)
Darrell Henry, Play-by-play announcer.
v 5:30 - Buffet dinner
v 6:30 - Revolution vs. Ducks: Watch the stars of the future perform.
Where: Sovereign Bank Stadium
50 Washington Street
