In-Season Meeting of the Bob Davids Chapter

When:       Saturday, June 23, 2012 beginning at 3:00 p.m.

What:       The annual major league game meeting of the chapter.  This year we'll see the two contending ball clubs that have both been in first place for much of the season.  Our program includes:

• 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m.  Self-guided tours of the MarylandSports LegendsMuseum and/or the Babe Ruth Museum.  Walking tours of Camden Yards may also be arranged.  Contact:http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/bal/ballpark/tours/index.jsp.
• 3:00 - 3:15 p.m.  We meet at the Hilton Hotel near Camden Yards (It's practically in center field at 401 West Pratt Street in Baltimore.)
•  3:15 - 4:00  Mike Wallace, former major league pitcher and broadcast partner of our chapter's own Phil Wood on "Nats Talk" on MASN. Mike also appears on The Mid-Atlantic Sports Report.
• 4:15 - 5:00  Fred Valentine, former major league outfielder 010.
• 5:15 - 5:45   Ballpark dinner served at the hotel.
• 5:45 - 7:05  Batting practice, more self-guiding
• 7:05 -   The Nationals vs. the Orioles:  Hard to Beat

How much:    $50 for SABR members and visitors.  Cost includes program, tickets to the game and the dinner, served by the Hilton.

Admission requests should be postmarked before midnight Tuesday, June 19, 2012.  Admittance thereafter, including at the door, is $55.  We can't guarantee seating or meals for registrants after June 19.  Usually, we have room, but why take a chance?

After midnight June 19, please do not mail registration forms and cheques; rather, please bring the registration form and a $50 cheque per person to the meeting and send an email message tod2244p@yahoo.com with intent to attend.  Thank you.
