The Bob Davids Chapter of SABR is adding a new service for its members–a twice-monthly classifieds e-mail.

You can use this to promote your baseball book, a baseball event or other stuff baseball-related (for example, the two ads in the inaugural e-mail were looking for people to join a fantasy baseball league and a Nationals ticket group). This is how it works:

By the 1st or 15th of each month, send your classified ad to SABRDavids@aol.com. The guidelines:

1) To be used by chapter members
2) Max 200 words, text only
3) Baseball-related ads only
4) There is no cost

The Chapter will send out the e-mail to all chapter members by within a few days of the cut-off. Members will only receive the e-mail ads clearly labeled as such.
