Summer Meeting of the Bob Davids Chapter

The first chapter of the Society

Hagerstown Suns at Delmarva Shorebirds.

The teams are the South Atlantic League affiliate of the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles, respectively. 

Place:  Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, MD (Direction below).
Date:   Saturday June, 11, 2011
Meeting Time: 5:30 P.M. (assemble by 5:15 P.M.)
Cost:   $35.00 which includes the game ticket and buffet dinner at the Hardball Café. 

The Hardball Café is perched above the main seating bowl directly behind home plate. The buffet includes pulled beef BBQ, Pork BBQ ribs, hot dogs, corn bread, corn on the cob, coleslaw, ice cream and refreshments.

From the North (Dover Area)

            Take South Dupont Highway (US-13 South)
            Merge onto US-13 S/US-50 E/Salisbury Bypass toward Norfolk
            Merge onto US-50 E toward Ocean City
            Turn right onto Hobbs Road

From the South (Virginia)

            Take US-13 N
            Take US-50 E ramp toward Ocean City
            Turn right onto Hobbs Road

From the West (Baltimore/Washington)

            Take 295 S
            Merge onto I-695 E/Baltimore Beltway Outer Loop
            Merge onto I-97 S via exit 4 toward Annapolis/Bay Bridge
            Merge onto US-301 N/US-50 E via exit on the left towards Annapolis/Bay Bridge
            Merge onto US-50 E toward Ocean City
            Turn right onto Hobbs Road

Parking:  $3

Bonus:  Fireworks following the game

Ticket requests should be postmarked before midnight, May 23, 2011.  Admittance thereafter, including at the door, is $40.  After that, please bring the registration form and a $35 cheque per person to the meeting and send an email message to d2244p@yahoo.com with intent to attend.
